Mr. Zolan Rajapakse is a seasoned financial professional and entrepreneur with nearly 23 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. His career reflects a unique blend of corporate leadership, business development expertise, and successful small business entrepreneurship.

Born in Sri Lanka and raised in Australia from the age of nine, Zolan completed his secondary education and pursued higher studies at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), where he earned a Diploma in Business Management. He later continued his academic advancement, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Deakin University while progressing in his banking career.

Zolan began his professional journey at Australia New Zealand Bank (ANZ), one of the region’s largest financial institutions. Over the course of his tenure, he held key roles across Small Business, Middle Markets, Emerging Corporates, and Corporate Agri, managing a broad and diverse portfolio of clients. He successfully structured and oversaw lending facilities ranging from $10 million to $50 million, supporting business clients through growth, restructuring, and strategic planning. His career culminated at ANZ as Team Lead for Asset Finance in Business Banking, where he led a national team of 12, guiding financing strategies and asset portfolios across multiple industries.

After relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada, Zolan embraced entrepreneurship by co-founding A Garden Floral with his wife. The company serves luxury retail brands, corporate clients, large-scale events, and the Las Vegas convention industry, and has earned recognition as a Best of Las Vegas finalist—reflecting both the creative and operational excellence he brings to business ownership.

Zolan later returned to the financial sector in Nevada, where his passion for banking and business advisory work was reignited. He currently serves as a business banker at one of Nevada’s leading banking institutions, supporting local businesses through tailored lending strategies, financial planning insight, and relationship-driven client service.

His commitment to community leadership is reflected in his role as Treasurer of the Sri Lanka America Chamber of Commerce, where he contributes to advancing business, cultural exchange, and bilateral economic engagement. He is also a member of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and actively participates in Support Local, a regional networking group dedicated to strengthening small business collaboration and economic opportunity.

Outside of his professional commitments, Zolan is passionate about health, nutrition, and fitness, values he integrates into both his personal lifestyle and his approach to professional well-being and leadership.
